Lean Six Sigma
For PepsiCo
Before the pandemic, PepsiCo ran all of its staff productivity training (Lean Six Sigma - LSS) in a classroom setting. When this was no longer possible, they turned to videogames to create a virtual training experience that could replace and improve upon their original methodology.
PepsiCo came to me with a working prototype made by an employee’s 10 year old son. After doing a deep dive on their LSS program, I led the development of a new and improved version in Minecraft.
Since launch, thousands of PepsiCo employees have been trained using the program, and it has now become their standard approach for employee training. The project was lauded by PepsiCo’s CEO, and featured in a number of studies including one by The University of Oxford on innovative digitalisation strategies.
