In many countries around the world, access to independent journalism is prohibited by government censorship. However, even in countries where almost all media is blocked, Minecraft is still accessible.

The Uncensored Library exploits this loophole and acts as a digital home for press freedom inside the game. Players from around the world can enter the library, read books and articles that are banned by authoritarian regimes and learn more about the battle for the freedom of the press.
